As you know all the Sashas for sale on this site are my own, however I have been asked to showcase this amazing Pierrot on behalf of a very dear friend.  This rare & unique doll is face type III  and is an original Pierrot.   Pierrots were only ever made by Sasha herself as gifts for special friends and they could not be bought at either her studio or in any shops.  There are probably less than 15 known to exist.  They are always wonderfully drawn in pencil, with romantic wistful expressions.  Their clothing is generally velvet or silk in black, white or as in this case a rare darkest blue velvet with white ruff.

This Pierrot has a white blonde mohair wig  & fantastic eye painting mainly done in pencil enhanced with some painting and he has nostril accent dots. He is made of a resin-type vinyl which is a material Sasha was using for the later dolls.
